I am a Senior Research Economist at the Department for Education, specialising in applied microeconometrics and labour economics. My career has focused on bringing rigorous, data-driven analysis to high-stakes policy environments, with previous roles at the Bank of England, the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), and the Institute for Policy Research.

My work has supported policymaking across the Bank of England, the NHS, and the UK Civil Service. Notably, at the Bank of England, I developed machine-learning models featured in the UK Monetary Policy Report and cited by the Financial Times. At the Institute for Policy Research, I led the analysis of regional innovation data that shaped the West of England’s Economic Strategy.

I use large-scale administrative microdata, Python, and Stata to evaluate public policy and solve complex causal inference problems. My academic research on labour markets has been presented at leading international conferences, and I currently hold a revise-and-resubmit at the Journal of Labor Economics.
